The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hieronim Olchawa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roch Konieczny in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Roch Konieczny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hieronim Olchawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Konieczny in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Olchawa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. 62 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Watarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Wincenty Zagrobelny managed to get in a good position for a shot. NieETIkalni Lebork's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincenty Zagrobelny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
