Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Thierry Henry made the kick off and thus started the match. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Angel Alvarenga was slow to take the kick. During this time GuateFortín's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Angel Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 10th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santino Seco to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Mastache charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Mastache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thierry Henry might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thierry Henry ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thierry Henry's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Pedro Manzanares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 22nd minute, Roberto Trotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, GuateFortín's Thierry Henry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thierry Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thierry Henry in the 32nd minute. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Zellier in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Heriberto Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. GuateFortín's Mario Gomez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orlando Tafalla, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Carballar in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nery Pumpido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Nery Pumpido made a huge save. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Tafalla in the 58th minute. Nery Pumpido made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santino Seco got free with Nery Pumpido in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Zico Zellier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GuateFortín made a substitution. William Villanueva replaced Zico Zellier. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GuateFortín's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Abram Sarmiento put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nery Pumpido. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 minutes, Ignacio Mastache made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joshua Garrido hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Gomez to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Fabio Huezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GuateFortín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Huezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Thierry Henry. But to his dismay, Thierry Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
