The LFK Spyris fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to LFK Spyris getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play forced LFK Spyris's goalkeeper Konstantinas Malevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldas Alvinskas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by LFK Spyris's Aldas Alvinskas. But to his dismay, Aldas Alvinskas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldas Alvinskas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldas Alvinskas in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jonas Mikuckis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Konstantinas Malevičius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. LFK Spyris were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Giedrius Domeika took the corner. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldas Alvinskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldas Alvinskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
