In the 27th minute of the match Orson Mulford sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Papo having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Real Ale Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Anselmo Papo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Abraham Alguacil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Anselmo Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 38th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Zachariasz Hoffman took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthew Garrido during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The wind increased when Esbjörn Fågel made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Real Ale Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvester Eastham to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Anselmo Papo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Real Ale Madrid's Anselmo Papo got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 64 played minutes Real Ale Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Grealish. Real Ale Madrid's Anselmo Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of play. Anselmo Papo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 69th minute of play forced Real Ale Madrid's goalkeeper Anselmo Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Real Ale Madrid's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Panama's Miguel Miralles to a score. 1-2 in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anselmo Papo. Anselmo Papo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Anselmo Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 78th minute of the match. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Papo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 95th minute of play. Panama played a much better game than Real Ale Madrid and deserved their victory. The Real Ale Madrid players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
