Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán started the match with the kick off. When Luz Tejedor came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luz Tejedor couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos. Ariel Mourelatos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bruce Cornforth hit a great ball. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 2-1 in the 43 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Ariel Mourelatos made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Luz Tejedor sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Shi Sha Quan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Sture Raknes kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ariel Mourelatos but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos got control of the ball when Antonio Tenorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruce Cornforth made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Ariel Mourelatos in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
