João Pedro de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Jarbas Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Sandro Fontes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 4-0. Panama were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Marxistas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Haritzeder in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Marxistas's João Pedro de Amorim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 5-0 after 46 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when João Pedro de Amorim made the kick off in the second half. Vladimir Costa made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tomas Berganza sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 56 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marxistas made a substitution. Michel de Almeida replaced Cauã da Cunha. A collision led to Marxistas getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Michel de Almeida hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Marxistas's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Costa came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dylan Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dylan Sarmiento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. Mauricio Txatxu's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Txatxu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Mauricio Txatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Marxistas getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Mauricio Txatxu hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Marxistas's Vladimir Costa didn't even have to move. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Marxistas had won after a very even match.
