The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's zone, Gabriel-Alejandro Van Alboom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Elduayen came out of the goal and Gabriel-Alejandro Van Alboom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Larry Estoyanoff came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Real de Carmelo 2021 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larry Estoyanoff couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, Larry Estoyanoff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aison Mitsinikos. ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Larry Estoyanoff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Maxi Araujo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel-Alejandro Van Alboom during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel-Alejandro Van Alboom. A collision led to Real de Carmelo 2021 FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Serafín García hit a great ball. When Kroios Mestas came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kroios Mestas couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute, Kroios Mestas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Elduayen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kroios Mestas to make the kick off. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Larry Estoyanoff managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Charalambos Kouropoulos in the 56 minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kroios Mestas came free, but Federico Elduayen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Leo Fernandez was substituted for Maxi Araujo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Estoyanoff in the 77th minute of play forced ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s goalkeeper Aison Mitsinikos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aison Mitsinikos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Estoyanoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Larry Estoyanoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Xines Borrego seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Xines Borrego the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Real de Carmelo 2021 FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Xines Borrego had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 87th minute, one of Real de Carmelo 2021 FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real de Carmelo 2021 FC. Federico Elduayen came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s Gabriel-Alejandro Van Alboom. But to his dismay, Gabriel-Alejandro Van Alboom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3.
