Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Joacim First showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 minutes, Tomas Berganza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Pinhote FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the game, Pinhote FC's Guo Ming nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Guo Ming scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 3-1. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim First having to interfere. In the 36th minute Imre Hellinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Luís Ceresso got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Joacim First tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Ceresso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sílvio Luís Ceresso to make the kick off. Imre Hellinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. John Beton hit a great ball. Loco Martin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Joacim First showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Imre Hellinger made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Sílvio Luís Ceresso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinhote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. 77 minutes into the game, Pinhote FC's Sílvio Luís Ceresso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. Loco Martin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Cotilla. Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imre Hellinger in the 93rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Pinhote FC were the better team. Pinhote FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
