Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sergio Dennis started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Leopoldo Itzaina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Favila kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Metal Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. When Metal Juniors's Sergio Dennis in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Dennis's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Itzaina in the 19th minute of play. Sergio Dennis scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Dantae. In the 31st minute Sergio Dennis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Metal Juniors's Leopoldo Itzaina got a free kick in the 34th minute. Leopoldo Itzaina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. The supporters of Metal Juniors booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Carballal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Jonatan Dantae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Daniel Păvăloae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timoteo Gorosti was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Dennis, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Metal Juniors got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonatan Dantae ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jonatan Dantae almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Dennis, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. When Jonatan Dantae came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Metal Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Dantae couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Dennis in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Sergio Dennis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergio Dennis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Metal Juniors's Haroldo Nayely was substituted for Jonatan Dantae. Metal Juniors made a substitution. Martín Palermo replaced Sergio Dennis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martín Palermo in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Palermo came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Metal Juniors's Martín Palermo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Metal Juniors were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gaspar Gerazan took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Haroldo Phelipe managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 87thth minute of the game Martín Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaspar Gerazan made a great header on Metal Juniors's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. 93 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Palermo came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Martín Palermo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 93 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Joaquin Gayoso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Metal Juniors were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
