Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abel de Godoi kicked off to start the match. A hard shot 3 in the game by Cássio Ferraz from a close distance when the talented Dante Lacasa managed to make a qualified save. Mexico's players were relieved. In the 5th minute, Olivedos's Luisinho Ceresso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luisinho Ceresso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Olivedos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luisinho Ceresso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 5th minute, one of Olivedos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olivedos. Abelardo Maranhense had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Ferraz in the 13th minute of play. Abelardo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Abelardo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Osvaldinho Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Franklin dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mexico booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Parraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 58th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Luca Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Maranhense. Luca Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Abelardo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 67th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olivedos.
