An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Negri in the 3rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Maicon Abreu could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Marcos Cotilla however easily saved by the left post. In the 9th minute Arí Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dylan Sarmiento the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Panama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dylan Sarmiento had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 15 minutes into the game, one of Panama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Adrianinho Ramos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcos Cotilla. In the 19th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21stth minute of the game Adrianinho Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Abreu came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maicon Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. In the 27th minute Filip Felenak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrianinho Ramos. In the 31st minute, Maicon Abreu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 2-0. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Negri in the 37th minute of the match. Red Dragon FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Panama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Vítor Trevisan took the corner. The corner led Red Dragon FC - DMZ's João Vítor Trevisan to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Cotilla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Marcu Andrițoiu made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Adrianinho Ramos scored 4-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Panama fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the match, Maicon Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maicon Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Ramos in the 73rd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Arí Negri made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. 90 minutes into the match, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Filip Felenak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Filip Felenak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Red Dragon FC - DMZ booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball.
