The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Felix Montes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play forced VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's goalkeeper Miguel Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerónimo Leiria in the 25th minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Jerónimo Leiria. But to his dismay, Jerónimo Leiria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Pedroso having to interfere. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerónimo Leiria was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Zé Guine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Jerónimo Leiria sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. In the 62nd minute Jerónimo Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Miguel Pedroso however easily saved by the left post. Miguel Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Jerónimo Leiria struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Leiria in the 74th minute of play. Vivaldo Belém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF had won after a very even match.
