An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 13th minute of play forced Dapotan Eagles Fc's goalkeeper Ramang Hermansyah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Agurto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Agurto in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramang Hermansyah narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Panama booed when Dapotan Eagles Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amara Verna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramang Hermansyah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Abraham Alguacil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ramang Hermansyah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dapotan Eagles Fc made a substitution. Chayo Gabas replaced Apolo Agurto. After the first half Panama were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abraham Alguacil's late challenge caught a Dapotan Eagles Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hanafi Rai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chayo Gabas in the 90th minute of the match. After 97 minutes, Alex Cambeiro made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Dapotan Eagles Fc's Ramang Hermansyah tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dapotan Eagles Fc made a substitution. Hatta Mangindaan replaced Adeng Manurung. Dapotan Eagles Fc's Imran Sujatmiko was substituted for Meiky Mujahidin. The Panama players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
