After a rather tough play, Black horses's Gundars Marenics got a free kick in the 5th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Vitauts Ziemotājs came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Black horses got a freekick which was hit by Henrihs Rudgalvis. In the 33rd match minute, Black horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrihs Rudgalvis to maneuver through the defense. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Brencis Tanbergs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Black horses getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Andrievs Stanguts hit a great ball. Brencis Tanbergs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Black horses's Raivo Stelbaums ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Henrihs Rudgalvis kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vitauts Ziemotājs to make the kick off. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raivo Stelbaums in the 51st minute of play. After 55 played minutes Black horses got a freekick which was hit by Gundars Marenics. 60 minutes into the match, Gundars Marenics notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. Black horses's Vitauts Miemis was substituted for Edžus Prenas. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Brencis Tanbergs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Kurts Skripals's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurts Skripals in the 92nd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrihs Rudgalvis kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Black horses support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
