Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rönnöfors FF's Per Tunström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Magne Gunnarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Tunström in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Fagerberg got free with Julio Vera in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Henry Fagerberg put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Per Tunström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Per Tunström scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1. In the 20th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Rönnöfors FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Agustín Saelices managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Per Stenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Andino in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Gunnarsson saved Rönnöfors FF from getting behind. After 26 minutes, Luis Andino made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Olimpiu Mirciulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Olimpiu Mirciulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Per Tunström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rönnöfors FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Tunström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Rönnöfors FF getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Per Stenberg hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rönnöfors FF made a substitution. Torsten Åman replaced Arne Stor. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54thth minute of the game Henry Fagerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Henry Fagerberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Per Stenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Mirciulescu. Rönnöfors FF's Sigvard Biörnberg was substituted for Olimpiu Mirciulescu. In the 68th match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigvard Biörnberg to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Biörnberg in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Fagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
