Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Petrini having to interfere. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Petrini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play forced IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s goalkeeper Diego Petrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Pedrinho do Valle got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. José Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. were furious when Honorato Landa was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.! The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Diego Petrini. 0-2. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Diego Petrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guga Gaúcho got free with Julio Vera in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s corner Cléber Melo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Diego Petrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Betão Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Diego Petrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Breckenfeld in the 57th minute of play. José Breckenfeld scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Agustín Saelices took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Diego Petrini to make any attempt to save it. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Tony Seco was substituted for Pedrinho do Valle. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Perivaldo Meireles was substituted for Betão Catarinense. A sloppy throw-in by Camilo Gisbert in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Tony Seco. In the 72nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Diego Petrini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Breckenfeld in the 80th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Guga Gaúcho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Diego Petrini made a huge save. When Tony Seco fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s protests and gave Tony Seco a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Ecuador played a much better game than IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. and deserved their victory. The IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
