An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play forced Újlõrincfalva LC's goalkeeper Illés Kiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Illés Kiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Illés Kiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szabolcs Vígh in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Újlõrincfalva LC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Illés Kiss in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th match minute, Újlõrincfalva LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boldizsár Szabados to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boldizsár Szabados got free with Julio Vera in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Újlõrincfalva LC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Máté Gellért in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Újlõrincfalva LC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Illés Kiss made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Illés Kiss made a huge save. With a little luck, Újlõrincfalva LC's Illés Kiss got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line.
