Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 3rd minute of play forced O.T.E's goalkeeper Javier García to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menelaos Anatolakis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of play forced O.T.E's goalkeeper Javier García to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alekos Roubakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Lakis Kazantzakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier García. O.T.E's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Alekos Roubakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier García read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Lin Quan Hai hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Menelaos Anatolakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Rivera got free with Dante Lacasa in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Javier García showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alekos Roubakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Alekos Roubakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Alekos Roubakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Rivera to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goalkeeper Javier García had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. In the 59th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Javier García saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. O.T.E's Özen Baroğlu was substituted for Orlando Rivera. After 85 minutes O.T.E's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by O.T.E's Özen Baroğlu. But to his dismay, Özen Baroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 88 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Javier García was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakis Kazantzakis to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
