When AZURDUY F.C.'s Niclas Füllkrug in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 11thth minute of the game Tom Hermansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Hermansson's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Teodosio Iigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the game, Tom Hermansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Tom Hermansson came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 25 minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Tom Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. A hard shot by Károly Bogdán from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 33rd minute, Tom Hermansson made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Károly Bogdán tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute, Tom Hermansson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 4-1. After 47 played minutes AZURDUY F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sun Feng Chen. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tom Hermansson was the one to do the kick off. Petr Vosáhlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Füllkrug in the 57th minute of play. Károly Bogdán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. AZURDUY F.C.'s Manuel Valerio was substituted for Vinicio Venceslao. AZURDUY F.C. made a substitution. Berker Soytekin replaced Elpidio Laurgain. If Petr Vosáhlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niclas Füllkrug might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niclas Füllkrug ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 84 minutes, Niclas Füllkrug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Niclas Füllkrug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Hermansson in the 85th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Emilio Gotzon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AZURDUY F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
