In the 4th minute, Uruguay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hortêncio Rosa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leif-Eric St. Juste hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Fran Guerola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Hortêncio Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hortêncio Rosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Hortêncio Rosa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the game, one of Uruguay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joaquin Gayoso had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Thomas Kielland's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 21 minutes into the match, Thomas Kielland notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hortêncio Rosa had several of the Uruguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Joaquin Gayoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Hortêncio Rosa sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Christiano Amaral notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Hortêncio Rosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thomas Kielland in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hortêncio Rosa in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif-Eric St. Juste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

After 51 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thomas Kielland who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on S O B E R A N O CIMZ's corner Thomas Kielland fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Hortêncio Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Hortêncio Rosa in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 71st minute Hortêncio Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hortêncio Rosa scored 7-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hortêncio Rosa in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Hortêncio Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Pontes in the 84th minute of the match. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Hortêncio Rosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gildo Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. In the 90th minute Hortêncio Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gildo Pontes took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. S O B E R A N O CIMZ had won after a very even match.
