Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Mariano Lacasa made the kick off and thus started the match. Marco Odermatt hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Mariano Lacasa put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gregor Kobel. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th of the match, Nino Schurter tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Thiago Pliego got in the way and made a wonderful save. Gregor Kobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 22nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alain Berset to strike the kick off in the second half. Alain Berset took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Alain Berset came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alain Berset, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alain Berset in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 87th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Giacometti to maneuver through the defense. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stan Wawrinka in the 90th minute of play. Patricio Clerc kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Espen Steelers were awarded a corner. Alberto Giacometti went to the cornerflag to take it. Alberto Giacometti made a great header on Espen Steelers's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
