In the 3rd play minute Maxi Gambetta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 1-0. Maxi Gambetta scored 2-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Maxi Gambetta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 3-0. Maxi Gambettas short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 16 minutes into the game, ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™'s Maxi Gambetta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Maxi Gambetta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Maxi Gambetta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™'s Maxi Gambetta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 7-0 after 28 minutes of play. After 34 minutes, Abel Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Yasin Yerel took a quick shot and it went in 8-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yasin Yerel in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes in the game Hugo Ferrant did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lautaro Puig. The ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™ fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™'s Yasin Yerel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™'s Yasin Yerel got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Yasin Yerel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Yasin Yerel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™ made a substitution. Tom Roll replaced Ali Erdem Çetintürk. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™'s Ali Hamza Gündüz. 67 minutes into the game, ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™'s Yasin Yerel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasin Yerel in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Yasin Yerel came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yasin Yerel in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. When Hugo Ferrant fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Hugo Ferrant a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yasin Yerel in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Stephan Appiah managed to get in a good position for a shot. ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Stephan Appiah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Yasin Yerel came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yasin Yerel couldn't finish the play. Yasin Yerel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
