Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Berganza took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Yuri Mourato reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Gaitan. UM Timisoara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Yuri Mourato tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Bungescu hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Paul Mirea took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 26 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Ghimpu came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Mirea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Oardă came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UM Timisoara's Juan Gaitan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paul Mirea to make the kick off. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Mirea in the 52nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Mirea in the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Gaitan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Mourato in the 63rd minute of play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Miguel Miralles fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Miguel Miralles a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Aaron Barrios's late challenge caught a UM Timisoara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Barrios helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. Yuri Mourato, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Mourato in the 75th minute of the match. Juan Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Yuri Mourato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Yuri Mourato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Mirea came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UM Timisoara made a substitution. Basarab Drăgoi replaced Alex Bungescu. In the 88th minute Paul Ghimpu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Paul Mirea made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Yuri Mourato hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
