With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Ke Zheng Feng tried to sneak it across the goal line. Axel Montenegro scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sokol Narev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sokol Narev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Alström in the 32nd minute of play. After 35th play minutes Evelio Loi shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Pedro Manzanares and just under the crossbar into goal. Kevin Mastache took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sokol Narev. Sokol Narev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 47thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sunkens Surtröjor's Sokol Narev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Blom made a kick off. Sokol Narev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Ke Zheng Feng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Frans Alström notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ong Shyan in the 62 minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sokol Narev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sokol Narev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sokol Narev firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal.
