Olympique Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Czeslaw Domeracki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlético Rovesco's Armando Casomiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Furtado to strike the kick off in the second half. Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Henry in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Czeslaw Domeracki got free with Armando Casomiro in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 minutes Atlético Rovesco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabio-Roman Zabaleta who took care of the corner kick. Armando Casomiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phạm Nguyet, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
