Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ángel Hvalica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Miguel Ángel Hvalica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Lohitzun in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Hvalica in the 60th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Adrian Lohitzun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Juan Hvalica might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Hvalica ran back to his position shaking his head. 76 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Juan Hvalica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Hvalica in the 95th minute of the match. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
