Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cecilio Tristan made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Tristan got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Elivareo in the 6th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 14 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Artaldo. 17 minutes into the game, Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Elivareo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 22nd minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 29th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Ariel Artaldo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ariel Artaldo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. With 40 minutes on the clock, Rene Sanson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 40th minute, one of Abuba Akotonon FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Abuba Akotonon FC. Abraham Alguacil shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 51st minute of play. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Abuba Akotonon FC's Vânderson Barbosa. But to his dismay, Vânderson Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 58th minute. Abuba Akotonon FC's Vânderson Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Vânderson Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Abuba Akotonon FC's Genaro Elivareo got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute Vânderson Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Abuba Akotonon FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 83rd minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abuba Akotonon FC's Ernesto Oxarra was substituted for Ramiro Rey. Abuba Akotonon FC made a substitution. Ramón Garay replaced Vânderson Barbosa. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 91st minute. Abuba Akotonon FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Panama for a fine match.
