Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beat Vid having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aioros FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beat Vid came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Axelsson in the 15th minute of the match. Beat Vid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Bento Chandeiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Vid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beat Vid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bento Chandeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 37th match minute, Aioros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aivaras Lozoraitis to maneuver through the defense. Aioros FC's Beat Vid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. Beat Vid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bento Chandeiro got free with Julio Vera in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Aioros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Aioros FC made a substitution. Domingo Perón replaced Anton Axelsson. 55 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Aioros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhuang Guang Bang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aivaras Lozoraitis in the 69th minute of play. But to his dismay, Jose Miguel Núñez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aioros FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ecuador had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
