Lin Jie Chuan made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Juaneizu Llantaron immediately put the ball in play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio De Schutter in the 89th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Røise narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
