After 4 minutes of play, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Wincenty Juroszek made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dušan Vlahović, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Dušan Vlahović did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Bruno Barrett 10 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dušan Vlahović got free with Bruno Barrett in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanley Wallace hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Rodolfo Carrete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Carrete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertie Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33rd play minutes Dušan Vlahović shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Bruno Barrett and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Dušan Vlahović put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Czeslaw Loncki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curacao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Freddie Dahlman was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's players had a chance to rest. Freddie Dahlman made a great header on Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's corner, it was just that Curacao's Bruno Barrett managed to reach the ball for a save. Dušan Vlahović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 53rd minute of play. After 56 minutes, Dušan Vlahović made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 74 minutes, Dušan Vlahović made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dušan Vlahović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Czeslaw Loncki scored 13-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Harvey Doyle got a free kick in the 91st minute. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Dušan Vlahović. But to his dismay, Dušan Vlahović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
