After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Zdzislaw Krzynowek managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC GIDLE's supporters rose to their feet, but Zdzislaw Krzynowek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseba Diez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christer Belzner in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseba Diez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 played minutes FC GIDLE got a freekick which was hit by Jan Watarz. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Baki Lebib kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joseba Diez. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After some careless play in the FC GIDLE defense, Gau Olle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Sarnat. The FC GIDLE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Sarnat should have stopped the shot. FC GIDLE's Artur Sarnat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gau Olle in the 24th minute of play. Joseba Diez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Belzner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC GIDLE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Przemyslaw Jastrowicz in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gau Olle in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Sarnat saved FC GIDLE from getting behind. Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Garaona Salgado in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s Pau Novo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Sarnat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s Joseba Diez got control of the ball when Zdzislaw Krzynowek tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qwinton Lastras made a kick off. Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s Joseba Diez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Baki Lebib in the 50th minute of play. 50 minutes into the match, Ahmet Baki Lebib notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s Joseba Diez. Joseba Diez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Qwinton Lastras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Qwinton Lastras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qwinton Lastras in the 55th minute of play forced FC GIDLE's goalkeeper Artur Sarnat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Qwinton Lastras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Artur Sarnat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qwinton Lastras in the 70th minute of play forced FC GIDLE's goalkeeper Artur Sarnat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd match minute, FC GIDLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Watarz to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Jan Watarz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gau Olle got free with Artur Sarnat in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Qwinton Lastras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Artur Sarnat throw himself and got hold of the ball when Qwinton Lastras in the 84thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Joseba Diez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Baki Lebib in the 85th minute of play. Joseba Diez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Krzynowek in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Hamílton Vergílio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joseba Diez. Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamílton Vergílio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Joseba Diez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamílton Vergílio's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When the referee ended the match the FC GIDLE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
