In the 95th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Guillermo Mariano fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela!
