Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Manfred Konradsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Manfred Konradsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lemel SV's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Konradsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 8 minutes, Claudio Caniggia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lemel SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Caniggia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfred Konradsson got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Petroni in the 16th minute of play. Colombia were furious when Samuel Navarro was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ernst de Hoop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 37th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Konradsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Caniggia in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Montenegro to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Ernst de Hoop successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 54th minute, João Augusto Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Ernst de Hoop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Santino Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lemel SV's Ernst de Hoop was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lemel SV's Ernst de Hoop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Lemel SV from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Axel Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernst de Hoop. The goal made the score 1-1. Lemel SV's Ernst de Hoop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Lemel SV from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute Manfred Konradsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
