The supporters of Mexico booed when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Sazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Nițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dacian Nițescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 23 minutes in the game Macos Graciani did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Joel Gaona. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Cabezon went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dacian Nițescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Dacian Nițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Ardy Pakubuwono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th play minute Don Cabezon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dante Lacasa. 2-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Felix Luque put in a rough tackle. Mexico:s Dante Lacasa showed great skill when he stopped Ardy Pakubuwono:s penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 50th minute, Gorri Sañudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacian Nițescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 55th minute. When Alberto Tafalla, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dacian Nițescu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 68 minutes, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Facundo Cadaval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dacian Nițescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dewa Warauw in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Dewa Warauw succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
