Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dieguito Maradona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dieguito Maradona in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguito Maradona in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute LA LUZ F.C. were awarded a corner. Dawid Rojek went to the cornerflag to take it. LA LUZ F.C.'s Ivan Menendo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Dieguito Maradona sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dawid Rojek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dieguito Maradona's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Dieguito Maradona had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. 25 minutes into the game, Dieguito Maradona lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguito Maradona in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Dieguito Maradona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Dawid Rojek took a quick shot and it went in 8-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the game, Dieguito Maradona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Dieguito Maradona notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 10-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. If Nestoras Kabourakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Rojek came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Açıkalın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. LA LUZ F.C.'s Loukas Botinos was substituted for Felipe Haitz. In the 60th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by LA LUZ F.C.'s Loukas Botinos. But to his dismay, Loukas Botinos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. 66 minutes into the game, LA LUZ F.C.'s Atilla Açıkalın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Atilla Açıkalın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Açıkalın in the 83rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jailson Britto scored 14-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Jailson Britto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jailson Britto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0. The LA LUZ F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when LA LUZ F.C.'s Atilla Açıkalın looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 16-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 94 minutes into the game, Jailson Britto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 17-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute, Jailson Britto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 18-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LA LUZ F.C. fully deserved thier win.
