Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Visen Allu struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altermundi FC. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Visen Allu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When Altermundi FC's Visen Allu in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Visen Allu in the 18th minute of play. Visen Allu took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Visen Allu in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Altermundi FC's Henk Everts got a free kick in the 29th minute. Candido Piedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Visen Allu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Visen Allu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Visen Allu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Visen Allu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Visen Allu really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Visen Allu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's Visen Allu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Visen Allu in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Altermundi FC's Visen Allu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Visen Allu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Visen Allu in the 67th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Visen Allu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Candido Piedra in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 minutes, Hugo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Altermundi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Altermundi FC's Gerónimo Molina was substituted for Visen Allu. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Gerónimo Molina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altermundi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerónimo Molina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Altermundi FC's Gerónimo Molina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Altermundi FC's Alexandro Cattalán was substituted for Justo Zubicueta. In the 86th match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Reyes to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Gerónimo Molina came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerónimo Molina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Gerónimo Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute Gerónimo Molina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Altermundi FC had played much better football throughout.
