Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Gongolewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Lukasz Rukszcz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 8th minute Squadra de Pippe were awarded a corner. Boruc Gongolewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Boruc Gongolewicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Squadra de Pippe's Lukasz Rukszcz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Bruno Beldad was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's Lukasz Rukszcz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Squadra de Pippe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Rukszcz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 22nd minute of play forced Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Fan Xi Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukasz Rukszcz in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th play minute Lukasz Rukszcz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. 2-0. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislovas Skripkauskas came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 41st minute of play forced Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Fan Xi Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fan Xi Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Lukasz Rukszcz notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Filippo Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Filippo Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Squadra de Pippe made a substitution. Filippo Gigli replaced Fabio Bosco. 64 minutes into the game, Squadra de Pippe's Filippo Gigli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A well-hit corner resulted in Filippo Massa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Gigli in the 73rd minute of play. The Squadra de Pippe fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Squadra de Pippe's Filippo Gigli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 78 minutes into the game, Filippo Massa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Filippo Gigli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squadra de Pippe's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo Gigli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sainz. In the 84thth minute of the game Filippo Gigli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Squadra de Pippe got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boruc Gongolewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Denis Răducan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filippo Gigli in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute Filippo Gigli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filippo Gigli in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Filippo Gigli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Squadra de Pippe had won after a very even match.
