Julio Vera had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Uno Deckberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 60th minute, Uno Deckberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 69th minute.
