Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciprian Alexe in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. Niculae Şantău's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Şantău, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Allan Shearer put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Shearer to strike the kick off in the second half. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Shearer in the 51st minute of play. If Niculae Şantău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Gordon Miner in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute Niculae Şantău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Minerul Baita -MM-'s zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Maghiar came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Felix Ferenț was substituted for Vlad Tepes. The throw-in from Vadim Tudor in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Nistor Maghiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Alexe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 6-0 became the score in the 88th minute when Ciprian Alexe elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Niculae Şantău hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
