In the 19th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Garrido to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Lampe was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. If Ramon Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Ramon Pueblo scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 1-0. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Lampe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Lampe. Carlos Lampe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Carlos Lampe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Abram Sarmiento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Lampe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. But to his dismay, Flavio Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Cristian Claude got a free kick in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Daavid Uitto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adan Rufio was slow to take the kick. During this time ..Villa Rugby Club..'s players had a chance to rest. Antonio Indiano thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Pedro Manzanares, a very annoying self made goal in the 97th minute which led to 4-2.
