Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Simon Lehen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Ejército Soviético's Ermegildo Restu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ejército Soviético's Ariel Cristante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 4th minute of play. Ariel Cristante came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Benjamin Liher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ejército Soviético's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. After 7 played minutes Ejército Soviético got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Liher. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Cristante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Liher in the 9th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lorenzo Yepes hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Simon Lehen hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Guillen in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Luis Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Cristante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ejército Soviético players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Salvador were winning 0-1.

In the 55th minute, Simon Lehen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ejército Soviético booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Simon Lehen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ejército Soviético's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Lehen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Lehen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the game, Ejército Soviético's Simon Lehen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
