Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anti Kodu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Skellerup FC's zone, Pascual Carballar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenn Kuberg came out of the goal and Pascual Carballar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan-Benjamin Hula in the 25th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan-Benjamin Hula came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skellerup FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Skellerup FC from getting a goal against them. The Skellerup FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
