Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emilio Rizzo got the match started through his kick off. Emilio Rizzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberigo Addari went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Duri come il marmo getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Fabio Presutti hit a great ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Addari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corrado Contestabile in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Emilio Rizzo had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the game, Corrado Contestabile recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Corrado Contestabile showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Emiliano Polito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Alberigo Addari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Rizzo. 30 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Addari came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mary Cau who took care of the corner kick. Emilio Rizzos short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 36 minutes of play, Duri come il marmo's Corrado Contestabile made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emilio Rizzo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 41st minute shot 5-0 at rihgt post. The supporters of Duri come il marmo booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Addari, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Corrado Contestabile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Addari in the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Alcocer during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Emilio Rizzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Duri come il marmo's Carter Romanese was substituted for Corrado Contestabile. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Addari, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Alberigo Addari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Alberigo Addari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Duri come il marmo's goalkeeper Emiliano Polito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. After 79 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Duri come il marmo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 80th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Alberigo Addari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberigo Addari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Addari in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Emilio Rizzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute Alberigo Addari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes of play, Duri come il marmo's Carter Romanese made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Alberigo Addari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Alberigo Addari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Duri come il marmo fully deserved thier win.
