The audience thought a goal was coming when Behzat Amir got free with Thiago Pliego in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joško Van Landschoot might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joško Van Landschoot ran back to his position shaking his head. Joško Van Landschoot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Joško Van Landschoot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joško Van Landschoot got free with Thiago Pliego in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Suelo De Toro charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Suelo De Toro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Suelo De Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Orlando Casaus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Casaus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A nice corner shot did that Aybar Gürçınar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joško Van Landschoot in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Olcay Tezkan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The referee ignored ISPARTASPOR U21's protests and gave Davinson Sanchez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Davinson Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joško Van Landschoot in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Michel van der Bij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. ISPARTASPOR U21's Jim Houwing was substituted for Frances Sánchez. ISPARTASPOR U21 made a substitution. Davi Isac replaced Alfredo Gumaro. Chile's attentive Felix Garrido managed to snatch the ball when Sol Campbell made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel van der Bij having to interfere. ISPARTASPOR U21 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chile had controlled the match.
