The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jamaica. Javan Develder's late challenge caught a Tala Bosques del Jaure's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javan Develder helped the player get up and apologised. Cai Wei Xi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demonde Jacobson having to make a save. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Wei Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cai Wei Xi struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Demonde Jacobson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tala Bosques del Jaure. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Tala Bosques del Jaure's Cai Wei Xi. But to his dismay, Cai Wei Xi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Wei Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Cai Wei Xi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. Cai Wei Xi scored 6-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tala Bosques del Jaure's Cai Wei Xi in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jamaica's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 68th minute, but Xove Tijerina got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Tala Bosques del Jaure hanging dry this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Rodríguez in the 70th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
