Cassius Byrne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Moron having to make a save. 8 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Liberto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Day. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Day firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Moron was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Liberto in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Quetara in the 18th minute of play. Daniel Moron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Quetara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, USA's Daniel Moron threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paulino Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Boulogne del Ciclón made a substitution. Liu Zhen Ang replaced Gogo Gabrio. After a rather tough play, Boulogne del Ciclón's Paulino Nascimento got a free kick in the 57th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Boulogne del Ciclón's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Daniel Moron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Monte in the 67th minute of play. When Boulogne del Ciclón's Diego Quetara in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bonifacio Monte in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Zhen Ang in the 83rd minute of play. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Boulogne del Ciclón made a substitution. Gregorio Gagriel replaced Natalio Roldanillo. Boulogne del Ciclón were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Liu Zhen Ang took the corner. Boulogne del Ciclón's Liu Zhen Ang was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Quetara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's Sam Campbell got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. USA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
