After 4 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Franco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yuliy Esikov in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the 8th minute FC NOSTA were awarded a corner. Gennadiy Lihventsov went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Gennadiy Lihventsov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 9 minutes into the game, Vladimir Terentiev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC NOSTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After 10 played minutes FC NOSTA got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Terentiev. Nacho González made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 11th minute of play. Camilo Franco hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho González having to interfere. After 18 played minutes FC NOSTA got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Terentiev. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Nacho González didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After 20 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. Yuliy Esikovs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Igor Boronenkov made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vladimir Terentiev immediately put the ball in play. In the 34th minute of the match, Yuliy Esikov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquin Gayoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuliy Esikov made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 39thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Joaquin Gayoso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 41st minute FC NOSTA were awarded a corner. Gennadiy Lihventsov went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC NOSTA's Yuliy Esikov to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 42 played minutes FC NOSTA got a freekick which was hit by Vitold Rubakin. 44 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC NOSTA the free kick. After 44 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. In the 76th minute, FC NOSTA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Francisco Seco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nacho González was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC NOSTA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. In the 94th minute, Maximiliano Escribano made a precise shot to the right of Nacho González. FC NOSTA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The FC NOSTA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
