If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho González having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuliy Esikov in the 15th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC NOSTA's Nacho González played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Lopez in the 17th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nacho González took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute of the match Gennadiy Lihventsov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Felipe Custódio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 1-0. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuliy Esikov in the 32nd minute. Nacho González stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Nacho González tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dylan Sarmiento during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Gennadiy Lihventsov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Panama's Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move. Nacho González showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yuliy Esikov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Custódio came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 56th minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Terentiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Yuliy Esikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Vladimir Terentiev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC NOSTA's Felipe Custódio. But to his dismay, Felipe Custódio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After having played for 81 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuliy Esikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Melchor Lopez notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC NOSTA had won after a very even match.
