After taking down the ball on Amboy FC's corner Shi Sha Quan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Pascual Carballar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Mourelatos. Amboy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Carballar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Mourelatos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruce Cornforth hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Carballar in the 19th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Valerio Spadoni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Alberto Abascal went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Ariel Mourelatos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Mario Alberto Abascal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Colombia booed when Amboy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Cornforth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Mastache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Mourelatos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Amboy FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
