Ivan Malmgren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristian Mergildo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivan Malmgren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 18th minute. Alex Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adamantios Geronimidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. LANUS from getting a goal against them. In the 25th match minute, Hallands Riviera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adnan Kultigin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hallands Riviera's Valter Berglund got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Hallands Riviera got a corner. C.A. LANUS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adnan Kultigin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Hallands Riviera's corner Qi Yao Ping fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristian Mergildo quite easily take care of the ball. Alex Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adamantios Geronimidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Malmgren in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Mergildo saved C.A. LANUS from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Hallands Riviera's goal looked a bit too open when Adamantios Geronimidis came free, but Alex Svanberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Malmgren in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Mergildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th match minute, C.A. LANUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Saâdallah to maneuver through the defense. If Ivan Malmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hallands Riviera made a substitution. George Alkvist replaced Kong Feng. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The wind increased when Adamantios Geronimidis made the kick off in the second half. LANUS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hallands Riviera throughout the match.
